Arsenal 2-Norwich 2: Is Ljungberg up to a good start?

in #football5 years ago
Freddie Ljungberg saw his team draw against Norwich City 2 all in his first game as the interim replacement for Unai Emery who was sacked last week.

Norwich City lead with 2 goals until Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted twice to salvage a draw. His goal saved the team.
Also, the new coach didn't feature Nicolas Pepe as he was benched for the entire game.
Giving his thought on Pepe being on the bench for this game and on his first outing, Ljungberg insists the £72 million player will be given a ‘fair chance’ to win back his place in Arsenal’s side.
Ljungberg featured Bukayo Saka was featured in Pepe's place while, Gabriel Martinelli came in the second half.

My Thoughts.

For a new coach, there is always that drive by the players to make him happy and hopefully if he is any good or lucky, that story will just keep repeating itself.
I think the draw was a luck and as usual, Arsenal didn't do well as one would expect. Pepe is still not where he should be and it is a cause for concern as he may loose his place and possibly his shine.
Do you think Ljunberg is up to a good start?
Was it right that Pepe was benched for the entire length of the game?
