Scene 6 Int Day.

Inside the Tobore's residence. Mama is sitting on a sofa and she has a bandage around a her left arm. Richard and the inspector are discussing while the TV blared in the background.

Inspector.- The suspects are not saying anything yet,but I am sure that soon we will be able to get their confessions. My people are working on them.

Richard.- Hmmm.., what about the vehicle?

Inspector.- The vehicle was spotted twice in the last 12 hours and my men are on the look out. We want to allow the vehicle lead us to their hideout.

Richard.- Inspector, I want you to look at it this way. Stop spotting the vehicle and stop it. You must get these people responsible for this attack on my family. [upset]

Inspector.- We are trying our best sir.., with any luck we might get the robbers and bring them to justice.

Richard.- [Nodding slowly] You might? So we are not sure if you guys can do your job...

Inspector.- That is not what I mean sir [apologetically] We are working round the clock to get the people responsible.

Richard.- Thank you very much inspector, [stands up, and the inspector stands] I will be waiting for a more comprehensive report as against a might.

Inspector.- [confused but managed to smile] Well, I have to take my leave now. I will keep you posted.

Richard nods and the inspector walks out.

Richard.- Whoever is responsible for this attack will pay with their lives. They must pay for all this pain I am feeling now. They must pay for battering my wife. [punches the wind in anger]

Mama.- My son, you must stop getting yourself worked up. [she tries to seat up] Why don't you relax and forget about the woman in the hospital.

Richard.- [Shocked] I should forget about the woman in the hospital?

Mama.- Yes ke, you have to forget her. I don't think you should keep putting yourself in this condition every time. The police are working and all you can do is move on until they catch the people.

Richard.- My God, mama. [angrily and raising his voice] How can you even say such words? I should forget about my wife and move on?

Mama.- I am just...

Richard.- You don't have to say anymore, I understand what you mean. {walking out of the sitting room] Maybe I should,'t have bothered about you too. I should have allowed you stay in your wounds...

Mama tries to say something but Richard walks out and slams the door.
