End of the World

Acrylic

This painting is my attempt at using acrylic as a medium the first time. As well, that day I decided to use acrylic, for some reason, the subject matter of the piece became how the current world state of affair is a bit morbid (on the political and social front).

I added in several elements including: 

1. a clock (to indicate our limited amount of time as humans), 

2. nuclear zone sign (since the world gets threats from countries such as North Korea)

3. burning of homes (destruction caused by wars)

4. tornado in downtown city (just illustrating weather patterns changing)

5. devil (only indicating the negative emotions or intentions of humanity)

The above are just some of the elements I painted into the piece.
