My Way Making String Art Portrait
Hello Steemian!
A few menutes ago, I just created a String Art portrait for my friend and immediately I post here because yesterday nothing to poster. This is the smallest and the fastest string art that I created. So naturally the results are less similar to reference images. The fact is the smaller a work the more difficult it is to make it. But even so I still like it and dare to share my failure. "Don't be afraid to fall, be Afraid to not try.
This String Art I created on wood 20 cm in diameter, wool yarn and iron nails size 3/4 mm in two hours.
The process
- I make a stencil on the wood and drive the nails on sketch that I made.
- wrap the yarn around the nails that have been stuck to cover the sketch line.
-Paint the nails with black colour so it doesn't reflect if exposed to light
