Tamarind Rice Recipe
Ingredients
50 ml sesame oil
1 1/2 cup basmati rice
one teaspoon sesame seeds
four teaspoon urad dal
10 leaves curry leaves
one teaspoon fenugreek seeds
four red pepper
100 gram roasted peanuts
five red chili
70-gram tamarind
1/2 teaspoon powdered turmeric
one teaspoon turmeric
two tablespoon coriander seeds
four teaspoon chana dal
five pinches salt
one teaspoon mustard seeds
two teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
Method
Step 1: To achieve this recipe delicious Indian rice pass, non-stick heat pan on medium-high heat and add coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, and red pepper in the pan. These components are dried to give a sweet smell. Once this is done, keep this aside in a bowl.
Step 2: roasted sesame seeds and then dried up separately in the pan and grind with the dry ingredients roasted kept aside to fine powder. Keep it intact. Then, cook the rice in such a way that the beans are separated. At the same time, soak the tamarind in hot water (about 2 cups) and remove 2 cups of thick juice from it. Drop the pulp.
Step 3: Now, heat the oil in a frying pan on medium flame and add mustard, d orad, chana dana, red chili, asafetida, roasted peanuts, turmeric powder, and curry leaves in it. When brown dal turns, add a thick tamarind extract and salt and keep it on medium heat. Let the mixture boil.
Step 4: Remove from the flame when it sets, and separate the oil. This is a tamarind mixture, which must be mixed with rice. Spread rice on a plate. When it is boiling, add two tablespoon of sesame oil seeds and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix. Once the rice cools, add tamarind paste and combine the rice. Serve rice with tomato leaf or potato chips.
