I use the following
Coinmarketcap - You can drill down into the social media of a particular coin you are interested.
Coindesk - General bitcoin news.
Reddit - search for bitcoin and blockchain to find threads you like and subscribe to them.
CoinTelegraph - General bitcoin news.

If you like a particular coin you should follow it on twitter.

Set "Google alerts" with keywords like EOS, Ether, cryptocurrency and you will be sent any and all articles that mention those words as frequently as you set the alert. You can know instantly if there is a breaking news event regarding one of your coins... or any article that talks about Bitcoins in general.

You should see Suppoman's, and Crypt0's channels on youtube they are both really good.
