Christmas is here again, yet another time to celebrate, yet another time to enjoy friends and family, yet another to go out, visit places, share love, get to eat your neighbor meal(atleast the kids love this part).
Christmas to most people is magical as they expect the arrival of Santa Claus to come bearing gifts for all who were good throughout the year.
To some Christmas is another time to ponder, reminisce, celebrates achievements made during the year.
Christmas is too everyone what they want it to be, my prayers for you today is that your Christmas will be white.

How do I see Christmas??
Christmas is a long standing tradition that has one of the highest approval rating from all realms of life as different races, tribes, religions, states and nations around the world celebrate. This post won't bore you about the history of Christmas as that will defeat the aim but it will booster the relevance of this great moment we find ourself now in time.

All around the world men and women of different ages, religion, race and time come together, take breaks from thier busy schedule,design trees, fill their vicinity with colourful lights
, exchange gifts
and meals, family members hold huge banquets in celebration as love fills the air.
The question that pops my heart is in the name of celebration, and celebrating, who or what are they celebrating??

Irrespective of all various historical backings claiming the authenticity of 25 December to be or not to be the actual birthdate of the Messiah Jesus Christ, it has been generally accepted and the said date marks his birth celebration. Thus today in the name of Christmas they celebrate his birthday,they celebrate an icon of peace, leadership and excellence. They celebrate a man who has altered the realm of events in the planet.

Christmas is that special time when we remember the restoration of hope to a dying world, the fulfillment of prophecy. Christ was born, has lived and taught, left us with a message of love and he is still living.
Christmas is a reminder to me of God's love to humanity, for he was sent out of the overpowering love God had for a world that was driving at maximum speed to self destruction, so even as we live in this generation which is at a brink of war, turmoil, poverty and lack ravaging the young, with the big and mighty bullying the small, where terrorism is celebrated and sponsored, let us take Christmas and remind ourself that we are loved, let us share love and let love remain in our heart, we celebrate the one who saw the possibility of a people united together, who preached peace.
Let Christmas be white, let stop the bloodshedding, let's stop the human crimes, let push for a world filled with love and peace because that's what Christmas stands for.

In the midst of the celebration be careful not to make the mistakes you didn't make through out the year, celebrate Christmas with a consciousness of the man behind the celebration and remember the values he stands for, show love to the needy and let's all bask in the euphoria of God's liquid love. I pray you have a white Christmas
