When we downvote someone on Steemit it simply means that something is wrong with that post as if it could be copy paste bloggers, wrong contant ,not properly description,.

Why would I download their post? This is exactly what downvote is meant for. I did not downvote you simply because I don't want to. People have a choice. Down vote is a way of showing opposite side. That's the entire reason for the existence of downvoting. Down vote is never a monster, the people who abuse it are. Some of the point in your article hold some truth. If I downvote your post due to spelling mistake, will you continue to post? Probably not. If I don't downvote and continue to let you do it, will you be extra careful and proof read your post before hitting the send button? Probably not, you'll probably make the same mistake over and over again. In the end, is that mistake "big" enough to entitle a down vote? I leave that to you. #esteem on!

The way u changed downvote to download that what make steemian downvoting content. But downvote doesn't mean the content isn't great its just someone expressing his views and discontent on what he read. So please make necessary corrections before angry steemians test their downvoting power on your post
The biggest flaw to this logic, if for some reason one is offended by a particular person, it could be the name they use, where they from, their religion, political beliefs, etc. They get a down vote no matter how great their content is.
I see it already, I saw a down vote where the person said the content was great but still got a down vote for using a bot to get bids.
In other words, quality of the content is not important which is what this post is about.
My thoughts on this issue
