CRAZY DUCKS!!
In this video these crazy ducks found something good on the bottom of the pond!! LOL
Started with 3 Pekin ducks. We have been doing some incubating. Had spotty success at first. But the last hatch we had 7 out of 9 hatch!! We are up to 13 now. I'll be posting some more videos and pictures of the whole flock and how I plan on getting them to work for me!!

Youve got the wrong idea, you'll be working for the ducks!
Naa. They'll be taking out slugs and bugs in my food little food forest, around the grapes and blackberries along with fertilizing as they go. They give me eggs and meat in witch I can eat, sell or trade. We also will be selling ducks and ducklings come spring. Don't want farm animals that don't give more that they take. I'v got house pets for that. lol
I wish we could have ducks. A duck was my favourite pet in the past.
Ducks are the next bird we hope to start after the quail are to where we want them. Were thinking welsh harlequin, what do you think?
Welsh Harlequin are pretty. Don't know much about them. We got Pekin because it is what was available at tractor supply. lol To order from a hatchery they wanted us to order 15 min and we weren't read for that many at that point. lol Pekins are good though. At laying age they will lay 1 egg every day and a half. They also get to "processing" age in 6-8 weeks.👍
I dont know much either but read that they lay lots of eggs, and will brood their young, so no need for an incubator haha! I still need to look more into them though. Pekins sound neat, ill read more on those! I resteemed and upvoted! Thank you for sharing!
