I will continue against all odds

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done
When the council of the High priest, Captain of the temple and the Sadducees saw that their initial
threats were ignored and all indications pointed to the fact that the disciples were not going to budge,
they decided to threaten them further. Our text is quiet on the kind of threat that was made, but we
can deduce that the second threat was meant to make the disciples desist from spreading the
gospel of Jesus further, but they were not fazed by it. At this juncture, it is important to point out, as
inferred by our text that after thorough examination of the disciples by the council, they found
nothing, no evidence to hold against them so they had no choice but to let them go. Does the devil
have anything on you? The bible says in John 14:30, referring to Jesus, that the prince of the world
cometh and has nothing in him. We need to be sincere with ourselves and check if the devil has
anything on us. Some of us have secret sins and weaknesses by which Satan can hold us captive.
We must realise that the main reason why the council had no choice but to set the disciples free was
because they had nothing on them. It is therefore important to also highlight that the devil's main
objective is to ensure he sows a seed in us-it could be a sin, or a weakness to hold over our heads
and by which he can manipulate our lives with the intent of keeping us in bondage. Do you feel you
have been kept on hold or it seems your life is going round in circles? You can stand on the finished
work of Calvary where Jesus died for us and released us from every bondage, and declare you are
free from every kind of bondage in Jesus Name. Even if the devil has something on you, you can
draw on the mercy of God to receive forgiveness of sin and deliverance from any habit or hold Satan
has on you. We must note that even when Satan has nothing on us, he constantly looks for ways by
which he can pull us down. He does this by creating situations or problems with the intention of
keeping us down or placing our lives on hold. Are you a mature single and you think you can't get
married? I declare you are free from the hold of “single status” in Jesus Name. Is there a prevalent
cycle of divorce in your family that has destroyed marriages? I declare you are free from divorce in
Jesus Name; the devil is a liar, he will fail in Jesus Name. I declare whatever is holding onto your
children, spouse, business or job will let you go today in Jesus Name. The bible says whom the son
has set free is free indeed. You are free from every bondage and hold in Jesus Name.
