IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: New Curation account, new Badge and community support

Greetings to you all good people of Steem Nigeria Community. We all know our community is facing some challenges presently. We the admin and moderators of this community were not happy with it just as we are sure you are not happy with the happenings as well.

We the Moderators had meet and effect some challenges which which by your cooperation will help us to sustain this community still it achieve it's height and position on steemit platform. The following are the new effect.

1. A new Curation account for the community
   We had some challenges with the old community curation account which had not been helping us in curating your post, but we are happy to inform you that we have created a new Curation account @steemnigeria01.
   To make the account effective we have also lease 5000 steempower into the account to help us curate your good content.

2. The rebuilding task
   No doubt we all know the problem the community is facing now is a result of solid steempower to curate your content. On this note we seek your cooperation to be part of the rebuild process of this community by donating a token of 1 steem per week to help us lease steempower to curate your content. Each moderators are also encourage to donate 3 and above. This steems will be used to curate content in the community. We know this might not sound well but we have no option than to restart this way so as to have a large representation of our community on steemit.

3. A new Weekly Badge (Contributor)
   As stated above that we are soliciting your support to donate at least 1 steem weekly, each member who donate for the week will recieve the week badge of "contributor"
   All contribution should go into the new community curation account @steemnigeria01 with a memo "week01 contribution"
   We shall made it a mandatory task to give you report of contribution's for every week on Sunday.
   Having this badge made it mandatory for us to curate 5 of your content for that week with 100% of the community voting strength in as much your content are original and meets our standard of 250 words.

4. The Old badge (official Members) the old badge of official members still remains active, to claim the badge you must set 20% percentage of your post reward to our new community curation account @steemnigeria01.
   Having this badge also let you post stands a chance of getting curated by the community on a random based.
   Note: we might not upvote your content with the community account if you don't have any of our two badges.

5. Daily Curation Activities we shall make it a responsibility to give report of our daily Curation Activities. This will be done by the curating moderator for the day.

6. Community Contest we shall resume our weekly contest with a fixed price of 10 steem for now, details on that coming soon.
