Reminiscing Our Olango Island Quick Trip
Magandang Buhay! Greetings from the Philippines! How are you beautiful people in this community? I hope you are all doing fine.
Beautiful memories never fade. Doubtless, things may end but good memories will last forever.
Today, it is a sort of thinking back to our spectacularly wonderful quick trip to Olango Island.
I took a photo on our way to the island.
So let's start this by knowing the island of Olango.
According to Wikipedia, it is a group of islands found in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. It comprises Olango island and 6 satellite islets namely: Camungi, Caohagan, Gilutongan, Nalusuan, Pangan-an, and Sulpa. The island group has a total land area of approximately 1,030 hectares (2,500 acres). It is divided under the jurisdiction of the city of Lapu-Lapu and the municipality of Cordova, Cebu. It lies 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) east of Mactan and is a major tourist destination in Cebu.[4] It is known for its wildlife sanctuary. The entire area is the first declared Ramsar Wetland Site in the Philippines, as recognized in 1994.
Oh, that's very long!
From Lapu-Lapu City, we ride a boat with a transportation fare of 25 pesos per person, which was before the pandemic happened. After about 20 minutes, of travel, we arrived on the beautiful island of Olango. There we rent a bike which is 10 pesos per hour. Using that we travel to take off on San Vicente Marine Sanctuary. It is exhausting but definitely fun.
When we got to San Vicente, the sanctuary offers a variety of activities to the guests like snorkeling, boat riding and fish feeding but my friends, and I barely to avail swimming and we actually enjoyed it. We pay 50 pesos for each of us as an entrance fee. The food we bring our own but also there are available foods
We spend our time in San Vicente Marine Sanctuary. Swimming, taking photographs, enjoying the view, oh well I almost forgot, we have had done that fish feeding thing. At first, it's kind of scary maybe because I'm just so paranoid but later on I get a kick out of it, it was certainly brilliant.
Aftermath, we decided to go home in the time of 4 pm. Absolutely what we experience on that short trip was incredibly amazing. For just a low budget trip we had done so much of what we expected. Honestly, I'm looking forward to the second 😁
I think that's it, many thanks to all of you guys for passing by.
A million thanks to @booming02 @booming03 for support.
