Inside the Opera Garnier, Paris

It's vital to have a basic understanding of the 20 arrondisments, because it helps when choosing accommodation or staying safe in the evening. It’s impossible to even think you can see it all, we stayed in the 10th which was a little overcrowded but amazingly convenient for public transport. From its historical revolutionaries, world class chefs and 19th century impressionists there is much to learn and see in the French capital. If there’s one place in Paris that completely blew mind, it was the beautiful interiors of Opera Garnier. The above photo was taking from one of the balconies on a very hot September evening, we took a tour before going to see The Sleeping Beauty.
