Broken Light

Broken does not mean bad. Or ugly. It means in some way damaged. And everything and everyone is, in some way, damaged. You would have to be a complete fool not to appreciate the beauty of broken things.

Like the broken light of a hidden sun.

Or the perfection of a broken sunbeam.

Or the light that peeks from between the trees.

Or the grass that grows despite the snow.

There's always beauty in the shadows.
