I took this picture by a friends lake as the sun was just coming over the trees. I did it a few years ago and was attracted to it today as I looked through older photographs. Attracted as it is so different to where I live now. The mist on the water and the ducks gently gliding across the lake is so tranquil in the early morning.

There is nowhere on this island (Gozo) where we have this much water. This much water would be called the great lake if we had a lake this size.
OK, we have the sea around us but it is not quite the same as a lake.
Would I return to the UK? No! Looking at old photographs of the good bits is enough for me.
