Tips for writing an event contract
A written event contract to outline the terms and conditions of your service is something drastically important. when you take on a new client for your event planning business, just a verbal agreement is never enough in order to ensure the success of the said event and meet the expectation of both sides of the contract. Having an event planning contract in place guarantees that both you and your client have a compromise of the work that will be completed and other necessary facets of conducting business together.
If you want to be hundred-percent sure and confident that you will not have any drawbacks and conflict with your client in the future, probably consulting with a lawyer is the best way to protect your benefits, however, if you run a one-man company and you want to operate all of your career aspects all alone, you have to consider a few points in the contract. Here are some points:
identify all services: in order to clarify every right and duty of each side, it is best to mention every stake and condition, so none of the parties misunderstand each other in the future. Any party who disobeyed from the stakes, the other party has the right to ask the other one to conduct his/her duties.
Cancellation: there are many situations that conducting contract will confronting difficulties perhaps by each parties or force majeure. in force majeure situation, there is nothing that each of the sides are able to do, however, in the other situation that one of parties is guilty.
Timing: with most business to business (B2B) contracts, the issue of time is a matter for the parties and it is very important to specify the starting and ending the time of a contract in most of them. In the real world, where everything is fast-paced, timing is an essential element of a contract. Consequently, it is important to specify it in times of need. The event’s contract is of those contracts that timing could be of the essence of the contract, so it has to be done.
Dismantling: dismantling of the equipment is of the stakes that could be included in the event’s contracts. By including this, one of the parties will commit to install and/or dismantle the equipment before and after an event.
Pricing and material: This is one of the most important issues that should be meet in the stakes of the contract. There are a variety of methods that under them, pricing can be done; however, we are not going to explain each of them. In order to address the possible future conflict about this, it has to be clarified in the contracts.

Greetings friend @honarparvar.
I really like your publications as structures because, without extending too much, you manage to convey a solid and very clear idea.
The theme of your publication reminded me of a little anecdote:
When I was a teenager I formed a rock band ´n Roll with some friends. We had had certain informal presentations.
One day, we had the opportunity to play at a beach club and the manager asked us for a "contract format". We, just a few boys, did not know anything about it.
Fortunately, my father, being a business administrator, handled these terms and wrote us a basic contract.
Seeing your recommendations, I could see that my wise father involved almost all these aspects in that contract.
All the established clauses were very useful and really helped the business relationship flow satisfactorily.
Thank you for this valuable note.
Your friend, Juan.
thanks Juan :) great memory. send my regards to your father.
and thanks for your kind comments. I hope these help someone...
My father passed away several years ago, brother.
But thanks for sharing these valuable tips.
my apologies. RIP. grest son he raised 🙏🏼
You´re so kind.
Dear @honarparvar
Interesting read buddy.
To some degree you're right. However till today I remember working for some medium sized company, where Marketing Director has been closing many deals, often without signing any contract. His secret wouldn't probably work well in your part of the world.
What was his secret you may ask? Everyone liked to drink with him. So every now and then he would dissapear for a day or two and then come back looking quite wasted, with some new contracts and connections :P
On more serious note: it surely is more and more important to write down all terms and conditions. This surely can allow us to avoid difficult situations in the future.
I strongly believe that each business and each relation with people we do business with should be always unique. With some we may afford for more trust and it gives us more flexibility. It's worth to keep it in mind, because to much paperwork can also turn to be an obstacle.
Upvote on the way :)
Yours, Piotr
thanks Piotr, I wish your smart friend good luck, because a bad luck may turn one of his contracts in to a failure, which trades off all the previous good ones :)) kidding... thanks for your comment and support
Hi @honarparvar
All the explanation that you described, in this publication should be mandatory.
I always use a saying: When the accounts are clear, friendship is always preserved.
All negotiation is to obtain some exchange in many cases is always money. And we must all keep in mind that money is not friends with anyone.
Thank you friend for your support of the hope project.
thanks for your comment and time my friend 🙏🏼
Thanks for the post, I think they are very good points to consider.
This goes to my bookmarks :)
