Cryptos are bleeding... What the BIG Picture says?
Yes, they are bleeding and I know many are disappointed. FUD is everywhere, and less people may talk about Holding anymore. this is how speculation is: volatility is the essence of this business.
and have you ever tried to see the big picture? have you challenged your point of view after 3 years on something which you have had tried to figure out in a big picture?
now it's the time:
Looking at the big picture
I go to Ethereum, I'll tell you why: because it is the crypto I believe I can trust in a long term. I mean if you want to measure your decisions after 2-3 years, there should be a sustainable coin and platform to still be there! Ethereum is the most likely platform to survive in my opinion.
Ethereum the daily chart
The green uptrend line shows a resistance which seems very unlikely to be in near future! but we will need it in a long run.
The blue uptrend line, the red one and the purple one, they are all based on lows of ETH in the past years. and if you follow them you will clearly see the trend has interacted like supports and resistance with them. So I assume they are proven. right now we are in the stage, to test the blue one, if the red one is stably broken.
But I have another evidence, which shows we are in a critical time, that the trend should decide the whole direction:
The other Blue downtrend line, comes from the highest highs, which we had in 2017 and where intense. I believe in the point these lines meet each other, there should be a break even to new trend (I believe: UP! to test the green line)
Weekly chart, ETH
The Bollinger Band are getting close to the medium MA line, and the trend lines are shown here too:
- in the point that downtrend blue and purple are meeting each other, there is a strong bearish candle, which shows the trend decided to stay bearish, and the meeting point was a real point to decide.
- The candle is still testing the red line support
The RSI 14
Now let's see what the market shows as the traders' position. it is not in the oversold area, but if you look at last 4 years of ETH, there is only one other point which RSI14 was in such level: Dec 2016
In that month, ETH fell sharply to half and it took a while to get back to up trend.
My judgment, which is not and should not be considered as a financial advice, is ETH may fall to 475 CAD and even to 380 CAD, but in a long run, ETH will be back to up trend.
Invest in cryptos as much as you can afford to lose for the time being, and in the longterm, it will give you a nice return.
