Blogging on steemit; what it lacks?steemCreated with Sketch.

Once the cryptocurrency fever started in mid 2017, many ideas which were active in this field got more attention than before. I believe some of them really deserved that attention from the beginning. Steemit is among those.
The very first days I was on steemit, one thing was a real turn off to me: the editor!
it was working properly, wysiwyg and simple and light; but marking and editing options are really poor. minimalism is good, but for blogging, I prefer to have some accessibility :)
Whether you're a professional blogger or a amateur one, a good text editor is a must-have on your computer or online blogging platform.

A good editor will save you time and help you work more efficiently, creating more attractive content in a smaller amount of time for decorations. So you will have more to spend on your content.

Solution 1.
Steemit improves the editor! there are other things like the sociability, messaging etc for steem to work on, but this is absolutely an option for their developments. So let's hope @ned and his friends take it to consideration.

Solution 2. offline editors
An offline blog editor is a tool for bloggers which lets you create posts in absence of an internet connection. So, instead of going online to write in a less-equipped editor and worry that a hiccup in your network connection could cancel out all your work, you can just work offline and post them safely.

Offline editors let you create, edit, and format your content before you upload it to your website. Then, if you have an internet connection, you can publish the posts directly to your blog.

here are some great offline blogging editors:

  1. Windows Live Writer
  2. Qumana (Windows & Mac)
  3. Ecto (Mac)
  4. BlogJet (Windows)

Solution 3. busy.org
I started using busy.org as a friend suggested it to me. busy's editor is still minimal and light; but provides some necessary options too.
all you need is to sync your steemit account in busy and start doing whatever you were able to do on the main site.

I hope this post benefits you somehow to enjoy more blogging, and I hope you support me with an upvote ;)

I'm not suitable for busy.org, since I need to enter the password for steemit to log on to the system

Hey buddy! you mean the SteemConnect? what's the problem with that?

StemConnect does not belong to the STEEM? If it's a private company, then you do not want to give them your passwords

you are right, I got it. I'm confidant with busy and steemconnect; but do you think I need to stop using busy.org?

I agree, I wish the editor was more user friendly - I've had a number of difficulties when making basic edits.

Hi dan, try busy or offline editors :) thanks for reading my post. I started following you, great analysis content. are they your own?
