You feel the acid in your legs, you can feel the heartbeat all the way up in the ears, your inner voice begs you to stop but you know it wont help to stop yet, not already... You are barely half way up.

To climb a mountain

When approaching the mountain you are about to climb, some parts of you can't help but feel hopeless. How on earth would you ever have the stamina and endurance to cycle up something this huge? You try to tell yourself you have done it before and prepare your mentality for the challenge a head, but will that be enough?

You take a short look back at your friend who struggles just as much as you. In some way you gain more strength by seeing another suffer, you try to take a minute to get you breath under control again; it's hard but eventually you get that one sweet, long and slow inhale that feels like the oxygen goes all the way down in your legs again, refilling your power.

You start to get used to the hard stress you put your body through. It almost amazes you how the body keeps you going.
The muscles feels tired, yet almost inexhaustible. You have enough energy to take a look back and you realize how far you have come, from the very distance between those mountains was where you started your climb, and here you are, closing in on the top.

The top is near but you are tired... The sweat have soaked every inch of your body to keep you cool from the 40 degrees the sun puts on your shoulders.
People driving by looking at you like your not supposed to be up here, some people even cheer you a little, and it helps.

You reach the top and meets a view upon the Sea that expands into the horizon. You see how the upcoming road travels down along the mountain and there's only one thing to do in this moment... Take a picture and make the Albanian bird!

Lol. There is your entry into @captaincanary 's next #ridestory competition right there. If he does another one that is.
