Why I recently purchased 1.01 Litecoin!? Huge News! 26/01/18
Welcome steemit community I currently believe Litecoin is heavily undervalued for 2018 currently sitting at ~ $182 per Litecoin.
2018 is going to be a huge year for Litecoin what with Charlie Lee (the developer of Litecoin) has to say about his coin:
Here we see Charlie activly reaching out to the RobinhoodApp twitter which if successful would allow a massive about of new people in to Litecoin.
Following this up we have new exchanges adding support for Litecoin trading:
Here we see that Zebpay exchange has just added support for Litecoin!
To conclude 2018 is going to be a huge year for Litecoin

Litecoin is the first coin I ever brought it was hard to sell it for the gains. I am going to buy back in when it gets a little cheaper. I am looking at purchasing at 160 usd. This is a great post thanks for the information, I am looking to forward of all the new developments going on with litecoin.
I hope you're right, because it's almost impossible to transfer Litecoin directly to Sterling. It would be good if LocalBitcoins could add it. Bitcoin seems to be driving everyone mad with the long confirmation times and fees.

Definitely - this is the exchange I will use to transfer my Litecoins. But the problem is, they transfer into Euros, not Sterling, so I'll lose a little in the exchange rate from the transfer to Euros, and then I'll lose a bit more in the exchange rate from the transfer from Euros to Sterling. It's not a massive amount - total of about 6.5%, but it would be much more cost effective if I could sell them on a platform like LocalBitcoins.

I also think litecoin is quite undervalued. Theoretically it should be one fourth the value of bitcoin, but I think realistically the value will come up to between 1/8 and 1/10 of bitcoin, so it could easily go to 1000$ in the not so distant future.
I agree! there is such value in Litecoin its the silver to bitcoins gold.
