A World Without A Shred Of Violence

In the world of today, we have seen many people, groups and even countries picking resorting t violence as a way of sorting disputes at one point or another. This has led to numerous wars on numerous occasions, some of which we simply could not walk away from.

But if we are to really flourish and build a great society, we have to learn to solve our problems amicably since the peaceful option is the hard but always the better choice. It is easy to vent out anger, but it is much more difficult to forgive a person who has either wronged or offended you.

These days we see various countries who are know to be enemy states. What brought about these things? It was the search for power. This quest to gain more control and territory globally is the same thing that is dwarfing healthy bonds between countries. So long as there are opportunities to amass wealth, there is bound to be disputes.

Massive wars have been fought and numerous lives have been lost but for what? Conquering states have now developed the habit of using the fight for freedom as a means of justifying their actions which is almost always far from the truth. In reality, wars are fought for profits.

I certainly can see a world without the need for violence and nukes if we can be selfless and care for one another. I say this because, the root of most of these atrocities is greed. If we can do away with greed and accept each other more often, then we will be more likely to appreciate each other too.
