Farewell Summer
1st of September.
Summer is officially over. Back to base, here, in Athens.
Here is a photo of Athens, Greece from Parthenon in Acropolis.
After the heat of the mid day sun dials down, it's the golden hour, a time when we can really enjoy the colors of the city as well as the ocean blue at the horizon.

Funny....was thinking same thought today myself here in northeast US...I said to myself...."time to pack away summer".....although...while pleasant weather the last few days...have another heat wave coming our way...
