Unocoin is back online

India's leading bitcoin to fiat exchange is back online today - though it is NOT yet live

Unocoin went down earlier this week to patch weaknesses in its architecture and move servers "to a more secure location".

This coupled with a Bengaluru techie's account being hacked and drained of over Rs.100,000 earlier this month makes me want to reconsider using Unocoin for transactions.

Needless to say - MAKE SURE TO SECURE YOUR BALACES and only hold balances on online exchanges IF you plan to trade or cash out.

      You know, tough to say at this point. I might want to hold coins in offline wallets for now but I'm sure their business will spring back up soon. The beauty of competition makes people go an extra mile.
