At first, take a serious attention to follow your pet body language. I think you can find what happening on your pet mind. If your pet feels sad, you can make some special decision which makes your pet happy.
Create Ideas
Try to understand what the mean of your pet sadness. Input some ideas about your sadness thinking and create some step how can you solve this. For example, you can give a food treat for your pet which your pet like most, take an outdoor tour, buy the special toys or take a short walking plan with a pet. Sometimes, pet like to enjoy music, if you want you can create a music party with your pet.
