Digital graveyard

It's nearly been two decades since Facebook like social media platform is established. There are 2.80 Billion users on facebook as of today 23rd March 2021. It is such a huge number for even to imagine that all those people use facebook everyday. There may be a lot of other users who maintains more than one account like myself. It has been confirmed that there are nearly 30 million facebook user accounts who are not living anymore. All their data is saved in servers, all their happy memories and good time once they cherished. All those gossips and late night conversations are no more online. Those secret messages to their loved ones are now in solitary.

This led me to a question like what if when we are dead we are completely aware of the surroundings but, not able to do anything. Just like the account on social media, we are getting messages concerning us but not able to reply.

I have lots of disturbing thoughts like these but no specific platform to express my feelings.
