Visita al Luthier, en la terapia intensiva de los instrumentos

I always compare visits to the Luthier like going to the dentist, some are by appointment, some for emergencies (like mine), some for aesthetic reasons, others for painful reasons, others to repair something that is necessary to continue, and others because You can't do it yourself and you need a professional.

Siempre comparo las visitas al Luthier como ir al odontólogo, algunas están bajo cita previa, algunas por emergencia (como la mía), algunas por motivos estéticos, otras por motivos dolorosos, otras para reparar algo que es necesario para poder seguir, y otras porque no puedes hacerlo tu y necesitas un profesional.

In my case, in addition to being an emergency, there was also pain, but it was necessary to be able to continue. A couple of weeks ago my cello came unstuck due to the weather, there is a lot of humidity here, a lot of steam, and of course, a lot of heat, all of this caused the touch to come unstuck, and it was repaired, not with the success I thought and the measure affected. so exact that I had with my bridge, so much so that I had to get an emergency bridge to play again, so I'm a little bad about that, and I hope to get my favorite bridge back and fix it again to my cello.

Mi caso, además de ser emergencia también hubo dolor, pero era necesario para poder seguir. Hace un par de semanas mi cello se despego por el clima, aqui hay mucha humedad, mucho vapor, y claro, mucho calor, todo eso causo que se despegara el tasto, y fue reparado, no con el éxito que pensé y afecto la medida tan exacta que tenia con mi puente, tanto fue asi que tuve conseguir un puente de emergencia para volver a tocar, asi que estoy algo mal por eso, y espero volver a conseguir mi puente preferido y arreglarlo de nuevo a mi cello.

Something that I have never liked since I was right is to see my instrument like this, naked and on that table, which for me is a stretcher for them. All the cellos I've had so far have given me that bad feeling, I always cry when I see them like this, I feel like they're in intensive care to be revived.

Algo que nunca me ha gustado desde que tengo razón es ver mi instrumento asi, desnudo y en esa mesa, que para mi es una camilla para ellos. Todo los cellos que he tenido hasta ahora me han dado esa mala sensación, siempre lloro al verlos asi, siento que están en terapia intensiva para ser revividos.

José Castillo is the Luthier here, from the social action center in Yaracuy, previously he worked as a prop but later he educated himself and the years passed and I was able to trust him for many things because he is talented in this, and a lot of discipline accompanies him.

I feel satisfied, I have to play it until I see how the sound will change due to the bridge change, but it works for what I need now and I'll have to get used to this new sound that the cello is giving me until now.

Me siento conforme, tengo que tocarlo hasta ver como el sonido vaya a cambiar por el cambio de puente, pero para lo que necesito ahora me sirve y tendré hasta los momentos que acostumbrarme a este nuevo sonido que vaya dándome el cello.
