#41 NBA Basketball Surprises Year 2 Week 11 (Haas News) Happy New Year!

The best performances Weekly! It’s Sunday and like every Sunday it’s time to discuss the NBA Surprises.
Welcome back to my weekly list! Can’t believe the season is on again. I really enjoyed making this series last season and I am happy to start sharing year 2!
Excuse me for being away from Steemit for a few weeks just was very busy at work

Like every week I would like to share my take on the most impressive performances and players that surprised me.
I always take in consideration the teams play and winning streak, playing well individually but your team is not does not earn you a spot on the Haas picks list.. Ready for the top performers of week?
Here are my top performances.

Clint Capela
The Rockets started bad! Really bad and had big struggles as a team. Before the season I expected them to have some chemistry issues due to the many roster changes but this was major. The last few weeks they look like a strong team again, even with Paul out of the lineup. The won 9 out of the last 10 games and beat the Thunder and Celtics this week, two pay-off teams for sure.
Harden is putting up great numbers like always but I just keep on pointing out Capela! Averaging around 20 rebounds for the week! That is huge! He gives the team many second change points and that is what they need to score many points in order to win games. Well done Clint!

Justise Winslow
You can play him almost everywhere he is strong is a reat defender and is averging 20 points per game by just being him.
I have a feeling every team would love the have such a player on their roster. The Heat sure do in order to make It to the play-offs. Will he be an All-star this year? to me he should be on the shortlist for sure.

DeMar DeRozan
Everybody that follows my blog knows I love DeMar I even got myself a Demar jersey of the Raptors last week! I still find I sad he is gone but I am happy for him to be with the Spurs a great organization and It looks like he is enjoying himself there. He for sure fits well on a team that doesn’t focus on the 3-pointer that much. The Spurs beat the Nuggets and Clippers this week and only need a few more wins to be part of the first eight in the West again.

Myles Turner
The surprise in the East so far? The Pacers for sure. They are ahead of the Sixers and Celtics for now and I am sure not many people expected that. To me the Pacers play the best team basketball at the moment. Having on average 7 players scoring in double figures this week. Seven! So who do you guard?
The star of this week to me is Miles Turner being a presence in the middle and scoring and rebounding with the best. So everybody pay some more attention to the Pacers they deserve it!

Malcolm Brogdon
For now the Bucks are the best in the East. I always like it when a small market team had a great team. They have many strong players but I really like what Brogdan is doing the former rookie of the year is just solid. So go Bucks go!?
