Playtime with Meatloaf the Steer (Video!!!)
Meatloaf is our meat steer. I've never seen a cow be so playful and friendly. He's a healthy, handsome fellow.
Isn't he the funniest thing? He prances and dances when we bring him his breakfast and his dinner.

Our first steer was like that too, a big baby. It's cool when they are growing, but then there comes that day, and it's your playmate...
Honestly, I'm so ready for fresh, not-store-bought beef that it isn't bothering me one bit. He will go off to the processor happy and alive and come back in tiny packages for the freezer.
