At the Ammersee today

I went to the lake Ammersee today (should be somewhat famous, no?), still enjoying the last days of our unusually warm late summer, and taking my regular extensive swim.

The weather was not hot, but warm, with no clouds, but slightly and strangely hazy. Normally the Alps mountains are clearly visible, but not so today unfortunately.

My last swim round was late in the evening, and despite our exceptional weather period, the nights already get notably cooler. Most people put on shirts or even pullovers. The water in this big lake is still quite warm though, as it takes really a long time for it to cool down towards the end of the year I guess.
