Ødegaard seems ready for Madrid starter
Martin Odegaard's loan deal with Real Sociedad ends in 2021, yet his former coach at Vitesse, Leonid Slutsky, has made it clear that the 21-year-old midfielder is well prepared to become part of Real Madrid's starting lineup.
The Russian and current Rubin Kazan coach believes his former player can represent any top club in the football world.
I'm sure Martin Odegaard is ready to play for Real Madrid now, Slutsky told EFE.
He is already a top level football player. He is capable of fighting for a spot on any team in the world. If Madrid gives him the opportunity, Martin ends up playing.
Odegaard made his debut at the age of 16 for Real Madrid, but never got stuck in the starting lineup, which has resulted in several loan move for the Norwegian big talent.
