First off, I want to thank the steemit community for all the support over the last six months! I wasn't sure how much interest there was in herptiles on this particular platform, but I was very pleasantly surprised by your responses and comments!
I am really excited to announce that two of my great friends (and fellow herpetologists!) have joined steemit! These two have spent the last year and a half living on a 500 acre, uninhabited island off the coast of the Carolinas where they curate a conservation property. May through October, they are busy monitoring the sea turtles that nest on their remote island, as well as a host of other species throughout the year. They've sent me some photos of some awesome stuff while they have been there so I'm sure there will be some great content! Some of the stuff they've seen can be quite uncommon!
