Floating Ryokan (Setouchi, Japan)
As the holidays end, we must start planning the next ones... And just there is this new small luxury ship, Guntû that offers cruise on the Seto Inland Sea (Japan).
That's exactly what I expect when I go to Japan. Calm and serenity with a simple design but so in relation with the landscape. The local architect Yasube Horibe used wood in order to create a warm interior.
It would be nice to stay some nights on this boat. Out of my budget but maybe one day... Dream from JP¥400,000 (about $3,500).
On the boat, you can eat at the restaurant under the supervision of Kenzo Sato from Tokyo’s Shigeyoshi restaurant. Japanese food, fresh sushi, and occidental. You can do off-ship activities like morning walk on the island.
Or to be a fisherman for one day.
