Towards the 78th anniversary of Bhayangkara Day in 2024, the Bireuen Resort Police, Aceh, Indonesia, carried out a flower-strewing pilgrimage ceremony at the grave of the hero Colonel (Ret.) Husein Jusuf and the grave of his wife Lieutenant (Ret.) Ummi Salmah, in Geulumpang Payong Village, Jeumpa District, Bireuen, Aceh, Indonesia, Monday 24 June 2024.
This activity was led directly by the Head of the Bireuen Resort Police, AKBP Jatmiko, S.H., M.H and was attended by
Deputy Chief of Bireuen Resort Police, all Principal Officials (PJU) of Bireuen Police, Sector Police Chiefs, Subsector Police Chiefs, Police Chiefs, Personnel and Bhayangkari.
Bireuen Resort Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko, S.H., M.H said, this activity was a form of respect to commemorate the service of struggle and sacrifice of the nation's heroes and to pray for the heroes' spirits.
"It is also a form of our appreciation for the nation's heroes," said Jatmiko.
Furthermore, remembering the struggles and sacrifices of the National Heroes is very important for all Bhayangkara people.
"This must be used as enthusiasm and motivation in carrying out daily duties in protecting, protecting and serving the community," emphasized the Head of the Bireuen Resort Police.
