One piece

One Piece is an anime and manga about a group of pirates led by Monkey D. Luffy who went looking for a legendary treasure called One Piece. Luffy became a rubber man who had the strength to extend his body after accidentally eating the fruit of Gomu Gomu, one of the devil's fruits. Characteristic of the fight is to attack by lengthening the body. All the names of his stance always begin with the word "Gomu-gomu" and then followed by the name of weapon or artillery.

In February 2005, One Piece scored a record in Japan as the fastest manga publishing reached 100,000,000 copies. Up to now One Piece is one of the best-selling manga in Japanese history with sales of over 260 million copies. One Piece gets a lot of praise among readers, especially in terms of pictures, characters, humor, and stories.

The One Piece Manga began to be published in Shonen Jump magazine's 34th edition on August 4, 1997. Animeya began production by Toei Animation on Fuji Television on October 20, 1999.

One Piece is the best-selling manga in Shonen Jump history. This manga also caused the total sales of Shonen Jump rose in the last 11 years. Volume 25 holds the record for manga sales in Japan, with 2,630,000 units sold in the first print. And volume 46 reached more than 140 million units sold and is the fastest manga that reached 100 million total sales.

One Piece broke the record as the best-selling manga in history. The success of One Piece even exceeds the combined number 2 of Naruto, no 3 Kimi ni Todoke, no 4 Fairy Tail, no 5 Bleach, no 6 Bakuman, no 7 Gintama, and no 8 Fullmetal.
