Achievement 2 @hensmart Task: Basic Security on Steem

The ECG,an electronic device is really handy in some clinical operation by the doctors.It helps the doctor to monitor, be on guard while ascertaining the medical heart condition of the patient.

Just like the ECG serve as a useful guard to monitor the patient heart state in the hospital, the basic security on steem provide means to regulate and guards the various activities on our steem account.
Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on Steemit?
*Yes I have. It was the first thing I did when logging in for the first time. I use the master password to retrieve all the keys.
Question 2
Do you Know each of this key functions and restrictions?
*Yes I do
posting key:
The posting key is used for everyday logging in, posting, commenting, editing and voting on the steem account
Active key:
The active key is a more sensitive key used for steem wallet related activities. It is used for making fund transfer and converting of liquid steem to steem power and steem back dollars
Owners key:
The owner key is the A key,it should be properly stored since it can be use to retrieve the other keys
Memo key:
The memo key is use for encrypting or decrypting memo while doing fund transfer.When pound/# precedes the key it can decrypt the memo.
The Master password
This is the most important key as it can be used to retrieve all the other keys. It should be properly stored. It becomes very useful when trying to recover Steemit account.
Question 3
How do you plan to keep ur master password?
After opening my account, knowing the full importance of the master password I promptly stored it on my email. Incase of any hard drive malfunction I can easily access my email and retrieve my master password.

Do you Know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
*Yes

I went to my avatar, clicked and a drop down menu was displayed on the screen

I scrolled down to my wallet account, clicked on the wallet account, the page opened, I signed in to my wallet account using my active key

I clicked on my steem,a drop down menu was displayed on the screen. I scrolled down to transfer and click on it.

A section was provided asking for the user name of the person we are transferring the token to. I put the user name, the amount of token and the memo key.

I clicked on next, and the transfer was done.I later check on history to make sure that the token transfer was successful.

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

step1
I clicked on my steem wallet,after logging in with my active key,steem was displayed on the screen

I clicked on steem,a drop down menu was displayed on the screen, I scrolled down to power up and click on it.

I put the amount of steem I want to power up and clicked on power up.Finally the whole powering up was done.
