Sleep in peace and protected by God

a Christian prayer before sleeping, so that it is God taking away all our worries, and thus be able to sleep in peace, and be able to wake up totally full of energy.

Now that the flash of light is extinguished, we implore you, Creator: with your paternal mercy, to keep us under the light of your love. May our hearts dream of you, that in the dream, may you feel and sing again your glory to the brightness of the morning that will arise, grant us health in this life, renew our energies, illuminate with your clarity the terrible loneliness of the night. Oh, Father, listen to our prayers, hear us for Jesus, Our Lord, who reigns forever in your glory with you and the Spirit of Love.
