San Diego beer

Today is most definitely a good summer day for a Kölsch. This style is a light-bodied brew with a pale, straw-yellow color to it. The style originated in Cologne, Germany where it gets its name and is probably one of my favorite easy-to-drink styles out there. I always keep an eye out for a Kölsch when I'm brewery hopping, especially in the summer! It's similar to a Pilsner in that it's light and refreshing, and def worth cracking one (or a few :D) open on a warm, sunny, San Diego day!
