Everybody loves friends. We need friends in order to stay sane. For some of us our friends are our second family sometimes even our only family.
I know what you're thinking. Why am I telling you this you clearly already know. Well I want to share with you a friend who you can all relate to. They're here on Steemit with us right now.
You know that friend you had, the one we all had. The friend that had money but didn't chip in on the taxi. The one who has a full pack of smokes in there pocket but still bums one from you. The friend who brought a case of beer to a dinner party drank other people's beer from the fridge all night and then grabs the full case they brought and takes it home at the end of the night. That friend who it never seems to be there turn to buy a round at the bar even though they have money. The friend who you drive around but never gives you gas money.
Well, that friend is here on Steemit. There name is @Haejin. If you support HJ ask yourself this. How many upvotes have you given him? How many have you received? How many upvotes has he given to the community? How many upvotes has he given himself?
Why do you want this kind of friend in your life? Remember that friend from above. I bet you were so glad when that was over and you told yourself never again. Never again will I have a friend like that.
Don't support people who don't support you, your family or your community. Don't support people who take, take, take and give nothing back.
Many people would just say "he's built a large following". Hilariously, the reward distribution of that "large following" is so askew that they don't notice it.

Well said @hendrix22. If we want to build a community then that means we need to make sure as whole we support and help each other grow. Not a gimme, gimme attitude. I know I'm still so very low in the grand scheme of things, I encourage others to watch their voting, is the content good to you meaning it has some form of worth or are you just padding someone else's pocket that you vote doesn't matter to.
