Super Healthy Salmon Poke Bowl with Recipe Video.

Ever since I got hooked on Sushi rolls as the gateway into trying raw fish at a really young age, I have been hooked on eating just about every variation of raw fish preparation from every country and region of the world.

Some of my favorites at the moment are Sashimi, many variations of Ceviche and most recently Poke. The addition of Sesame oil and soy sauce to the raw fish to create an Asian style flavor marinade for the fish is just incredibly tasty. My mouth waters just describing it. Not to mention that this is incredibly simple to make in short time and super healthy.

This is a picture of the last Poke Recipe that I did for our Youtube Video with Fresh Salmon. I will post the video below with the list of ingredients to make this simple delicious recipe.

These are the Ingredients:
8-10 oz skinless salmon filet.
4 tbsp or soy sauce
4 tbsp of sesame oil
juice of 1 fresh lime
2 tbsp of sesame seeds
1 tbsp of shredded toasted seaweed
1/2 of an english cucumber diced
1 jalapeno minced (optional)

That is my variation of Poke with a couple of little tweaks for my flavor preferences. I actually used hot chili oil instead of sesame oil and added cucumber and chia seeds to it. You can use those variations if you like spicy and also want to add the extra fiber and nutrients from Chia seeds which are great and loaded with nutrients. I served it over Jasmine rice which is super aromatic and flavorful compared to regular rice.
