#13: The starry Night of Van Gogh./ La noche estrellada de Van Gogh.

<< I confess not knowing why it will be, but always the view of the Stars makes me dream. >> Maybe that's why Van Gogh could not resist coming to the theme of the night and paints two nocturnal that today are emblems when referring to the painter. These are: "Coffee Terrace in Forum Square" and "Starry Night".

-Here my little drawing, trying to mimic this great work.

This painting was made in September of the year 1888, being Van Gogh voluntarily detained in the sanatorium. In his last letters the painter said: << I have the terrible need for a religion. Then I go every night outside, to paint the stars >> In this way I end up putting in oil on canvas this work of art to die 3 months later.

At present "The Starry Night" is in the "Museum of Modern Art of New York", being this one of the works with more replicas and with the capacity to capture the admiration of many in the world of the art.

<< Yo confieso no saber por que sera, pero siempre la vista de las estrellas me hace soñar.>> Tal vez por ello Van Gogh no pudo resistir acercarse al tema de la noche y pinta dos nocturnos que hoy en dia son emblemas a la hora de referirse al pintor. Estos son: "Terraza del café en la plaza del Forum" y "La Noche Estrellada".

-Aca mi pequeño dibujo, tratando de imitar esta gran obra.

Este cuadro fue hecho en septiembre del año 1888, estando Van Gogh recluido voluntariamente en el sanatorio. En sus ultimas cartas el pintor decía: << Tengo la terrible necesidad de una religión. Entonces voy cada noche afuera, a pintar las estrellas>>. De esta manera termino plasmando en Oleo sobre Lienzo dicha obra de arte para morir 3 meses después.

En la actualidad "La noche estrellada" se encuentra en el "Museo de arte moderno de New York", siendo esta una de las obras con mas replicas y con la capacidad de captar la admiración de muchos en el mundo del arte.
