Who Are You In Christ?
BIBLE TEXT: 1 Peter 4:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Mathew 18:25, James 3:13 15-16 , Galatians 6:2, Isaiah 40 vs 28-29.
One question we should always ask ourselves is "WHO AM I?" are you like the gentiles that Peter spoke about in 1 Peter 4:3 those living a life with sinful desire and in sensuality, drunkenness and ignominious idolatry. Do you still live in your old life as a Christian, it has being said in the scripture 2 Corinthians 5:17 that if any man/woman said to be in Christ, he/she is a new creation and that his old life and activities have been passed away and new things have come. Jesus also said in the scripture in John 3:3 that no one can be able to see his Kingdom expect If ye is born again , born of the holy spirit.
One of the things that controls human is emotion, the biggest question is what do people think about you as a Christian, you should try to control your emotions not your emotions controlling you! one first thing after being born again is for you to advertise yourself, it was stated in the scripture Like 2:41-52 when jesus was young at the time his parents went to Jerusalem at the feast of the passover, at the point they had to leave Jerusalem behold they didn't find jesus and it was after three days of searching that they found him at the temple preaching the word of God with great personality around asking questions, jesus was advertising himself as being born of the holy spirit. The question now is as a Christian how do you advertise yourself, what do people think about you, do you advertise yourself to please man or to please God?
Several times, Christian tend not to be contented with what they have, as a Christian when you murmur you allow the devil to have access over you, even when you aren't satisfied you should learn to do it in a godly manner. Let's ask ourselves what do God really what from us, is it for us to murmur at the things around us or for us to praise and worship him, the time we use in murmuring, let's use it to praise and worship him.
GOD IS GOD!
It is very appaling that these days we call ourselves christains but we act in the direct opposite way jesus acted. We should always learn to do things in a Godly manner.

The only why Christians behave like Chickens instead of GIANTS is because they do not know who they are in Christ
