Wooo~ it's gonna be a good boy!

Alright, "How to take a better shot of my iPhone?"
A question that I've been asked all the time. (it isn't? 😅) Bruhhh~ The funny thing is, you're probably already taking better shot with your phone but you just don't realize it yet. Here we go, let's get wrong, let's get right into it. But before we start, Do not believe what I said. JUST DO IT !!!

1. ANGLES

No more hips shot or just blindfire! Angles are HUGE. So first, you should instantly pull of your gear (phone, camera) to snap a subject either an object or a person at whatever angle. But before that, just take 10 extra seconds and think about where it should look cool. Objects are typically really good or way better when they’re taking from wrist level. Thus, you'll be at the same perspective level of the object and you must put a little thought into it. You can also move around to the left, right and back. Take extra 10 seconds and think again, "How can I make this look better?" (You know what i mean..) Because we all know, sometimes people love to compare photos and they will say, "Wow! Your photos looked a lot better than mine. Why is that?" It's surely because of you put your thought into it.

2. SHOOT THROUGH SOMETHING

While taking a shot, you can dangle the lens a little bit. For example, if you're outside taking portrait photos of people in the forest, you can adjust a bit by placing yourself under the tree as you can see those branches and the leaf hanging down in front of the lens. The result will give you the bokeh effect which make it nice with focusing element and extra URMMMHH~~!!! The element of bokeh will be missed if you didn't do the step that I mentioned above. Essentially, just shoot through any subject by putting an object in front of the lens and get the right shot. What ever it is, put something that block the lens to add a HUGE dynamic in the photo. It will frame your shot in a really creative and interesting way. Give that one kind of shot !!

3. THINK OPPOSITE

Let's say we're gonna do a landscape shot in front of lake, everyone will take the same photo. If there's a hundred (100) people there, your photo might be either the best or not. But, the composition of the lake for those hundred people is gonna be different. Not necessarily just taking landscape photos, you can do much more like taking picture of deck of card, foods, books or it can be a photo of living room. It doesn't matter. Try to think what is the most common typical place that a photo would be taking from. Everyone is standing at a point of mountain, and everyone placing their food and drinks in the same angle. Get all in your head out, completely throw it off !! Think, I'm gonna shoot from the backward, I'm gonna shoot upside down, I'm gonna shoot from the left, right or even from the above. This is a little thing and a little tip that can end up producing a HUGE result !! Just take 10 seconds and say this to yourself, "This is what everybody does right here. Let's do completely opposite from what everybody had done." Yes, I'm gonna do that. You might be surprised of yourself. But don't over doing because sometimes, it could be worse too. Hahahahahahaha !!

4. LIGHTING

Lighting is HUGE. If you stuff isn't lit well :

  • No one can see it.

Lighting scare a lot of people. People are thinking "Ahhh~ I don't know how to setup light, I don't own light"
the solution very easy. JUST MOVE TO A WINDOW !! That it. Just stand in front of the window when shooting an object. FIND THE LIGHT !! Essentially, if it dark outside don't take a photo unless you're trying to take a night photography. If you're trying to take the picture of something in the restaurant, but the lighting is poor JUST WAIT !! Don't do it !! Do it later !! You know the environment is grainy, looks bad and you can't figure the light. It's probably a reason you shouldn't taking a photo right now. Wait for the GOLDEN HOUR and if you don't know what GOLDEN HOUR is you can google it there's lots of picture about it. You can ask siri "Hye Siri, when is the GOLDEN HOUR" or you can view here #goldenhourphotography. Window light is natural defuse. So you're photo probably gonna end up looking 100 times better and you gonna say to yourself "Mannnn... That AWESOME it actually look INCREDIBLE"

5. FRAMING

Placing object into the FRAME that help photo tell the story. Let's say we're taking picture a deck of card, we putting on a table, it's kinda boring by itself. So try to add element on it. Example, a laptop, a cell phone or maybe a cup of coffee. Placed just around the corner that provide an concept. The picture much more interesting because it's not focusing on the laptop, it's not focusing on the cup of coffee. And we made it very clear by keeping those things to the edges. Deck of card is the focus point. But we're add this extra element and just create the mood, feeling and story in this photograph and it took an extra 10 Seconds just drop this things in.

You're notice a lot of this tips, all this things are very very basic tips would elevate your photography be with iPhone, be with DSLR whatever those make your photo better. So try them out i think you're gonna get a smile if you're try out of it.

I think that all for this time. Thank you very much who reads to the end. Have Fun !! Bye !!
