My favourite book recommendation

It is by a very talented writer by the name of kallyspo masters and it is part of a book series following the lives of a group of ex marines. Without going Into too much detail the men, going by the names Adam, Damian and Marc all served together in the Iraq war which you discover in the earlier prequal and you also discover why they left and how they became damaged.

Some of them are damaged physically while others emotionally and throughout the series they still suffer the effects of the war. However this book series is a hopeful positive thing about how they learn to move on and find love and happiness. Not only is it the healing of these men but of the women they love, who each have suffered in their own way and have to fight to get passed so they can truly live.

Again without going into too much detail I will explain why this particularly one of the series is my favourite, and it is because it has a topic that is very close to home. In it, it will follow the healing of Damian and Savannah who fell in love long ago and were separated. He was her saviour back then when he rescues her from an abusive situation and in this book she is his.

It doesn't go straight into sex or anything kinky ( please note the book series does have a continuous theme of consensual BDSM, but it is used in a positive light). Instead it focuses on their joint healing and learning to love and trust before they take any physical steps, and honestly it's only the last quarter of the book where it begins to really focus on physical relationship.

In his case he is so damaged by his injury and mental scars that he doesn't think she deserves him , and she has many mental scars from her abuse that she can't live a normal life and fully connect with anybody. it really is a wonderful book, that lets you know that love can heal all wounds and tells you even if you aren't perfect to everyone you are always perfect to that one special person.

As I have said it does have a running theme of BDSM as the men own and run a private kink club, but it is very tastefully done and researched. The writer took the time to make it true to life so you won't find any ridiculous shades of grey type of anything in this series. While all characters feature in all the books so you get a continuous update on their lives, each couple get a book solely dedicated to their joint story.

I can also wholeheartedly recommend the book of adam and Carla as they face a whole different set of hurdles to jump over. Again not too much detail as you will just have to read it, but I will say that again it is beautifully written and very touching, and that it is their past history that stops Adam from being willing to move forward with their relationship.

Please read these books as honestly you won't regret it. You will fall in love over and over again with the strong protective and amazing men that they are, and you will wish you were these lucky women who have truly earned their love and devotion.
