Our First Plants - Tiny House - Big Island of Hawaii

When we decided to move the catchment tank at our new Tiny House. There were these plants right where we wanted to place the tank so we dug them up and put them in the back of the car and took them to our old Tiny House.

We filled this area next to the ramp we made for the driveway with some of the dirt we have been scraping off and planted the plants we took from our new Tiny House.

The dirt is so fine and dry that when we put water on it it just ran off. We took our hose and lightly sprayed it until the ground became damp. We did this for two days in a row.

We will have to see how the plants do when we visit the Big Island in a week.
