Epic Weekend Festival Fun, Now Onto The Weeks Adventure

in #life6 years ago

Amazing! Saw some roaming buffalo at weekends end! Some many interesting events happened, it was a great kinda party for me! Went to the small town festival, saw a variety show of bands there, from country, blues, punk rock to hip-hop/rap! So awesome! It is a benefit concert for families who have children with cancer to help them pay the bills. A worthy beautiful cause! It was an all ages event so there were many children there. There were not as many people there as I may have expected but those who were there were awesome people, we all had a very great time!!

I didn't know it ahead of time but people I know played in their Celtic Punkrock band there! There were bagpipes and I believe a fiddle. I loved how super energetic they were! Danced pretty hard there, brought the fam and my young friend down for the festival too! Wow it really brought people together, I still feel super charged up!! Stayed up late and drank a good amount as well. Their bands name is called From Under The Stone

A part I enjoyed from Saturday night was when my young friend performed a little beat boxing on stage with a rapper there who didn't bring most of his backing tracks so the friend made some backdrop sounds for him!! That was so wicked! At the end of the night some of my most favourite rappers The Outlawz performed! They came all the way down for this, they are pals with a rapper named Gbaki from Calgary. Such a sweet time. It was a smaller turnout so it became such a wonderful intimate event. Outlawz and Jae Synth got everyone on stage to dance with them awhile! We were up there a long time until we had to shut the sound down. Everyone who came to the show was VIP. Very awesome and sweet gesture!! Drank some Hennessy with them, smoked a bit. It was a righteous family event! It is called Adamstock in Lamont Alberta. Outlawz like Canada and love to support important causes.

There is what Young Noble from Outlawz calls the Limo Graveyard out by Lamont. He posted pictures of them posing with these cars on his Instagram. I liked the junkyard of cars. I almost thought it was the festival when I first drove up from a distance. I had to laugh at that cause there were so many cars, the festival would be huge if that were the case. So all in all a very uplifting and spiritual event this weekend. I almost feel like a different person in a great and inspiring way. Saw old friends, musicians who I've been into since Junior High were there. It was the perfect special little time. We all socialized and partied at the end of it, that was great! Got to meet some new people!

There was also this moth that hung onto and with us for quite awhile. Found it on the tent and my friend put it on his leg and it stayed there for an hour! The moth attached itself for me for awhile too. That was kinda funny. So now I am rather tired and want to go to bed. May have a few more stories to tell out of it later. Will be helping to work on the roof this week, part of the fam is starting a new job. It will be a busy time for awhile now. Really glad we were able to take a nice break in the last while! Going to keep feeling good and inspired! Have to take care of myself with all the smoke in the air too. Friday was bad at the festival for smoke, cleared out some for the fantastic Saturday though.

Ahh, how I love going to festivals and live bands! It sounds like you are starting to really enjoy "life" again. Nice of you to share the road with those beautiful buffalo! Guess limos are getting to be a thing of the past unless of course you are loaded. Lol. Keep it up my friend. It is always more fun for me to post cheery and positive posts...Let's start a new tag #feelgoodposts.

That's a great idea for a tag! Yea going to these concerts is bringing me back to myself! To get away from societal/social pressures and just be! This was the first time I saw roaming buffalo! It really made my day!!

That is amazing!!

Great and amazing photography @havok777. Amazing pictures taken by you..☺💚💙

Thank you so much, I just love taking these photos!!

Your photography is good. In which the buffalo is running in the middle of the path. And the two cars are interconnected. Your festivals are very beautiful.

It was from an after festival vibe, close to the town where it was hosted at
