The diary game: sunshine day

A sunny day ushers in warmth, happiness, and the rather familiar comfort of tranquility. Bestowing its golden glare on the earth, all seems to wake up. The wind causes the trees to shake in the gentlest of ways and the foliage to spark with gorgeous sunlight. Little cheerful birds sing all over as they move about with their lovely sounds, and the canvas of the heavens above is a convincing blue and scattered with no clouds.

It is on such an afternoon that people venture outside and congregate with beaming faces pleased with the cute little sunny weather. Children can be spotted running around in parks filled with virus-like laughter as they run after one another. Under the umbrellas of the trees, a family sits enjoying themselves as the weather is beautiful enough to allow outdoor dining. In fact, wandering makes sense as it is the sort of day when one goes out to admire beautiful surroundings and appreciate the warmth that surrounds not only the body, but the inner self too.

On a bright sunny day, one can appreciate the goodness that is around and the chaos in the routine is interrupted for some time. This is what nature nudges us to do; take a break, sit back, and appreciate what is in front of you.
