i saw many people debated about steem it and they told it as a ponzi scheme because like ponzi and hyip we to invest first to get good return and how much we invest that much we can earn here like other ponzi schemes .Hence there are not solid proofs that steem is a ponzi scheme or not but some points to be noted >.>

So why steem pay us for posting actually steem is a social platform to introduce steem coin to million of people similar to other crypto coin but best thing of this coin they pay us for posting on steem Actually when we buy steem coin and put them into steem power steem coin became strong and this give worth to steem value there are many steem big whales who invested thousands of dollars and made a big community so Steem it is a network of community and a new concept of distribution of money with a superb idea where every one get benefits . So we must support this network so can make this coin more famous thank you.
