Last 28th May 2023 was a normal working day. As usual, I woke up the child in the morning, got him ready, had breakfast, and sent him to school.
That day my school had a government program, so I myself quickly got ready, took breakfast, and left for school.
I don't use the elevator as my office room is on the second floor. But that day at 9:30 am there was a program in the hall room on the third floor of the school. I reach school at 9:23 am Since the program would start at 9:30 am and everyone was waiting for me to start the program. I decided to take the elevator to save time. Within seconds of the elevator starting, it suddenly turned dark and stopped. That is, the electricity is gone.
I hurriedly looked for the emergency button and saw that it was all dark, nothing visible. Suddenly it seems that I have been in the elevator for a very short time which means that my driver is still around the elevator.
I quickly called my driver named Rafiq. I said, Rafiq brother, I got stuck in the elevator. Get me out of here.
Rafiq said madam I understand I am taking quick action. I am alone in the elevator in the dark. Suddenly I felt my hands and feet shaking. I'm getting nervous. I thought to myself that I would be sick. I slowly stood leaning on the elevator with my hands and continued to pray.
I could sense a lot of people running around outside. One shout Madam may be on the first floor. My teachers are calling me after a while, asking madam, are you okay? Are you having any problems? Then I hear someone saying that I can't open the door, I have to break the door. Another one is asking madam which floor are you in? I thought that I was stuck between the second and third floors. One of my teachers was so soft-hearted she started crying. After about 12 minutes I was rescued by breaking the elevator door.
Broken elevator door
After getting out of the elevator, I was surrounded by everyone. Whether I am ok, I just said I want to drink some water. One brought water. Another teacher started fanning me. I was really overwhelmed by everyone's love.
After a little when I restore myself, my school, NCO said to me ma'am a snake came downstairs in the morning we killed the snake, and showed me the picture of the snake. I just said that as much as I was scared of being stuck in an elevator for 12 minutes, I think I would have fainted if this snake was in front of me.
The most dangerous creature in the world
After finishing the school program briefly I went home. It was a terrible experience for me, being stuck in a dark elevator for 12 minutes.

Such incidents do not happen again and again in my life. Still, if it ever happens, I think God will keep me safe for all the other times like this time, In Sha Allah.
But when I think about that day, I don't feel much fear, but since that day, every time I get on the elevator, I feel panic in my mind if the elevator stopped again.

From that terrible incident in my life, I myself have learned to keep a cool head in danger. If I hadn't calmed down at that point I would have been sick inside the elevator and it would have been very difficult to rescue me.
So I want to say that in any danger we have to be slow and steady. We have to keep a cool head and think about how we can get out of the danger. And the most important thing is to trust the Creator, He is always with us, and He will save us from danger, In Sha Allah. In my opinion, it is most important to keep a cool head in danger, otherwise a panic attack can turn into something serious and could be life-threatening.
I would like to hear my friends' stories so I invite @ripon0630 @enamul17 @ismotara @memamun @patjiwell
