Diary game |(07-o1-23) Our sudden tour to My granny's house|

All over the country, the outbreak of winter is going on. The surroundings are covered in a blanket of thick fog. I live in Ghatail, it is very cold here. What about your area?

After 21 days of winter training, my husband came home on the 6th of January. We planned that night that we will have breakfast at Madhupur Star Restaurant the next morning. The next day, 7th January, we left at 8.45 am, me, my husband, two sons, and my mother. The fog is all around. My husband was driving very carefully. It took us about 30 minutes to reach. We arrived at Star and saw several customers already waiting for food.

We went and ordered for ourselves naan roti, khasir paya, roasted liver, dal, and vegetables. The food was taking a while to arrive so I took some pictures of the restaurant. Our food arrived on time. The food quality was quite good. We finished breakfast and ordered coffee. After finishing the coffee I paid the bill. After tipping the waiter, we abruptly planned to go to Mymensingh.

My maternal grandfather's house is in Mymensingh. We left to meet my Nanu. Half way we parked our car at Muktagacha Municipal office and bought some bakery biscuits and Horlicks for my Nanu.

We reached my Nana's house around 11.45. My grandfather's house is very old, built around 1941. My Great Grand Father was a Deputy Magistrate in the British Government. So my Nana's house is known as the deputy house. Only a small part of the house survives now.

My Nanu was very happy to see us. Nanu and Mami were busy with what to feed us. We was also happy to see them after a long time.

My birthplace is Mymensingh but my husband doesn't know this city very much. So we both went out for a walk. Many people know that the roads of Mymensingh city are very congested. So we took a rickshaw instead of car. At C.K. Ghosh Road, we were stuck in a jam for about 30 minutes. We both went to that royal house to see the famous Shashilodge.

Even after all these years, it is clear that this house was once very beautiful. Novelist Humayun Ahmed's play "Ayomoy" was shot in this Shashilodge.

Around 2 o'clock we returned from the city to my grandfather's house after praying and having lunch we left for Ghatail again. We started early so that we can reach home before night. In the afternoon, there is a slight glimpse of sunshine.

At nearly 6.30 pm we reached home. The next day my husband had an office; I and my kids had school. So I packed all the necessary things. After eating something light at night, we took the preparation to sleep. I was really tired after traveling all day.
