Kondaveedu Fort - Kondavidu Fort comes in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. Not only was the contribution of a king to build this fort, but many King Maharaj contributed to make this fort. Kondavidu Fort was constructed by Anapotha Reddy in the year 1250 and Kakatiya contributed a lot in making this fort bigger. But later this fort was captured by Proloya Vemrade, and in 1323, leaving Kadavidu as the capital, leaving its tag of excellence. After this fort, one after another, the king of Vijayanagara, Gajapati, the Sultan of Golconda and the last of the French and British went to Hato. There were different plans for this province and fortress of all those who ruled here. But all the Hindu rulers of Yehapar made plans for the benefit of this fort and the province here. But the Muslim emperors did not do anything for the development of the province here.

In 1323, a lot of parts of Warangal and Andhra Pradesh went under the occupation of Delhi's Tughluq. Because of their looted plans, people started becoming disturbed because of which Hindu King Musunuri Nayak had expelled Muslims from Warangal and in this campaign Reddy was also involved.

Reddy of Kondavidu used to be feudal at Warangal Raja first. Due to the inscriptions found here, one thing is understandable that he was contemporary of Korkunda Reddy and he changed his capital from the ambivalence to Kondavadhu. The founder of this lineage was Prolaya Reddy and he was the son of Prilla. In present-day Vijayawada and Guntur, he ruled for nearly hundred years (1328-1428).
His first king, Prolaya Vaamma Reddy, who ruled till 1353, and built many fortresses during his time, which led to his state becoming very strong and strong. Among the fort which he had built, the fort of Kondavidu was also there. Later, he had removed the capital from Guntur and made Kondavidu. After this the Bahmani (1458), King of Vijayanagar (1516), Qutbshahi (15311537 and 1579), Mughal army of Aurangzeb, 1687, French (1752), Asafjahi King and the last British (1766 and 1788) ) Had ruled.

          Architecture of Kondavidu Fort

This fort was constructed very beautifully. The architecture in which it was built is a symbol of a very beautiful architecture. There are 24 strongholds in this fort and around 30 small hillocks, then it was ruled by Gajapati. This fort looks great enough because of its height.

There are 21 stupas in this fort which is beautiful in appearance. There are many things to look like here, such as the temple, the house of the people, the pillar and many entrances. This fort is at the top of the temple of Gopinathvami and the temple here is dedicated to Lord Krishna. This temple is made of only one stone.
